Background:
The Lynnhaven Inlet or Crab Creek Boat Ramp was completed in December of 2001. The facility received $620,521 in VSRFDF grant funding. The facility has three boat ramps and one small watercraft ramp. There are 88 boat/trailer spaces and 102 car spaces. The facility has restrooms, showers and a vending area. The facility is completely ADA compliant and handicapped accessible. The fee for ramp usage is $6.00, if you possess a valid Virginia Saltwater Recreational fishing license and $12.00 without a license. The boat ramps are open 24/7 with an autopay box when the office is closed. The Lynnhaven ramp is proving to be one of the most popular ramps in Tidewater. The facility is conveniently located near the CBBT and offers access to the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. This facility offers access for both the shore and boat angler, and just about every common saltwater species may be caught in this area.

From the Virginia Beach Oceanfront: Take Atlantic Avenue North, it will become Shore Drive. Stay on Shore Drive until you cross over the Lesner Bridge (Lynnhaven Inlet) at the west end of the bridge there is a stoplight, you should see the ramp on your left. (E Stratford Rd.). Turn left on East Stratford Road, follow the signs to the ramp on the left.
From Norfolk: From US 64, Take Northampton /US 13 North to Shore Drive. Take the east Shore Drive exit and travel about a mile. Before you cross the Lesner Bridge there is a stoplight. Turn right on East Stratford Road and follow the signs to the ramp on the left.
From the Eastern Shore: After crossing the CBBT on US 13 South, take the east Shore Drive exit and travel about a mile. Before you cross the Lesner Bridge, there is a stoplight. Turn right on East Stratford Road and follow the signs to the ramp on the left.Contact:
